Type:   New Construction with historical building – Child Care

Description of project: The “Y” Southeastern Massachusetts in New Bedford needed a new space for their After-School Child Care Program.  On their existing property next to the YMCA’s headquarter, a historical New England building, we needed to find a for the historical commission acceptable design that could fit the “Y”s requirements on their new Child Care space.

The design shown here is not the final design. The design team had to go through several approval steps. At the point of redesign, I had already relocated to Austin, Texas, working for a local firm there.
